If you go quarter page, you’ll want to put the image in the top-left corner – and upside down. You can resize the illustrations for printing by copying/pasting them into a word processor and opting for the half-page or the quarter-page. Patrick’s Day pictures would make adorable greeting cards for friends and family. Next, they’ll mount the leprechaun on construction paper and add any background they want – a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow or a field of shamrocks, for example. Then they’re going to cut out the leprechaun’s face – and replace it with an image of their own! Glue it face-up to the back of the figure. Once the paint is totally dry, you can peel and lift it off the page and stick it in a sunny window. If you have enough puffy paint, they can even fill in the lines with color – it’ll take up to two days to dry.
